The processor is an Intel Core i3-2100 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i3 Processor. Which is the latest core i3 processor on the market. Runs cooler, uses less electricity and performs faster than previous generation i3 processors (i.e. i3-550)

4GB DDR3 Memory. Windows has many things running in the background to make sure you have everything you need while you’re on your computer. This can mean that older machines struggle with memory that doesn’t hold enough so Windows has to use the slower accessing hard drive. 4GB of memory should be plenty, meaning all those internet pages and office documents and everything Windows wants to use is available to access quickly.

1TB Hard Drive – This is where all of your documents, music, pictures and programs are stored. The larger the drive the more you can save without it affecting the computer’s speed. 1 Terabyte (1000GB, which for old school computer users is over 1,000,000 floppy disks worth of storage) Who needs 1TB? Well it’s only about a weeks worth of HD video… and that’s if you can use the whole thing just for one use. Let alone, photos and programs.

Fastest currently available DVD writer, well why not. It’s not really more expensive to put in a 24x DVD writer than a 20x or a 16x but it’s ready for writing at the fastest speeds when the disks become available.

Careful consideration is put into each of the systems I build to get the best quality and the best price, rest assured the components have been selected so they all work in harmony with each other.

I recommend genuine Windows 7. I pre-install it so that your computer is ready to use out of the box, and I make sure that it is set up using the optimal settings so it runs as well as it can for as long as possible.

After building the Gwydr website I was asked to see what kind of website I could create for this italian restaurant.

Having nothing but a few take-away menus and having had a chat to the owner about the feel of the website and some of the content it should contain I set about drawing up the plans for this website. I sent over a few works-in-progress, mainly to find a logo for the header of the site, having already chosen the layout I would be going for.

Once that was settled the website was launched. A few tweaks here and there, along with updating the menus when they changed – the website now has been viewed over 65,000 times in the last year alone – and always talking about ways to improve the online presence of the restaurant.
